What is Hero's Pursuit?

What Boys Want to Know

I know what you’re thinking - Why should I do Hero’s Pursuit? It sounds boring.
What is it?
Do you do sports?
What do you do?
Do I have to go?

Believe me, the boys who’ve done Hero’s Pursuit asked the same questions. But here’s what they said after doing the camp.

  • I really want to do this camp again. I can’t wait for the reunion. The guys were great!
  • I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
  • This is the only camp I’ve ever wanted to do twice.
  • Can we make this camp longer? Can we do a sleepover?

Why do guys like Hero’s Pursuit?

Deep down, we all want to be heroes in our own way.

What about the girls

Hero’s Pursuit gives you the tools you need to learn to be your own hero. Besides all that learning (that your parents have probably been trying to teach you!), you’ll have a blast:

  • hanging out with new kids
  • meeting awesome high school boys who can tell you how it really is
  • doing activities and trying new things you’d never thought you would (or could) do
  • asking questions you weren’t sure who to ask – and figuring out the answers together.

Yeah, yeah … But what do we DO?

We know you’re a guy and you like action. So, here’s what we do:

  • learn to change a bike tire
  • try new foods (it’s not as easy as you think!)
  • play our own version of Survivor
  • learn to talk to girls without fear or embarrassment (you’ll want to some day!)
  • practice greeting people properly and giving a proper hand shake (yes, it’s important)
  • perfect our home fitness workout
  • learn to throw a strike or curveball
  • learn how to play chords on a guitar
  • learn how to negotiate with your parents
    (in a nice way)
  • create a personal hygiene survival kit
  • a little friendly competition (a great scavenger hunt)

There’s so much more. Grab a friend – or come make a new one – and join Hero’s Pursuit.
